Mediterranean Islands Film Team
France and Italy
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $5139 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $2975
This team will use their skills, training, interests, and experience in film to help tell the stories of three specific language groups in Europe (France and Italy), the speakers of the Corsican, Sardinian, and Sicilian languages. Through film, this team will try to make these language groups, who are often completely unknown or “invisible” to the worldwide Christian community, “visible” to those, who are less familiar with the indigenous minority language groups of Europe. This team will shoot video, which shows the natural areas of these language groups, with an emphasis on their history, language, culture, spirituality, and identity. This will be accomplished both through personal interviews with speakers of these languages, as well as images that will show more about their language and culture. The hope is that these videos will help make the spiritual needs of these people groups apparent for prayer while also serving as a means of calling Christians in other countries, who might be open to God’s leading, into missions service among one of these language groups. This team will spend about five days in each location, followed by a retreat for editing/producing videos about these language groups, which can be used immediately, before their debriefing weekend and return to their home countries.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be creative and artistic, having a passion and skills in film. Knowledge of Italian/French would be helpful, but not required. Students on this team should be self-starters and willing to engage in conversations with anyone.

University Internship
Paris, France
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $5780 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $3800
Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world and is a global influencer. It is the center of the French speaking world, a leading economic area of Europe and a center of diversity. 40% of the Paris residents are either 1st or 2nd generation immigrants. Famous for its fashion, museums, shopping, monuments and dedication to the arts, France, like most of Western Europe, is a modern and very secular culture. Evangelical Christians comprise less than 1% of the population in France. Though the past shows that religion has been considered dead and dying in France, recent history shows a new trend of openness, especially among the younger generations. The Paris team is focusing on partnering with local churches, planting new churches in some of the least churched areas of the city, and developing strategic partnerships with committed missional US churches. Our intention is to assist in planting five churches over the next five years. Volunteers who accept these student intern positions will be instrumental in helping with our team’s outreach efforts and weekly ministries, serving as evangelism leaders when we host other summer volunteer teams, building new relationships and contacts in Paris, and strengthening relationships by connecting with and investing in local French churches. Most importantly, we want you to introduce people to Jesus! We want to facilitate the bold proclamation of the gospel in this dark place to those who live here and those who are visiting. We need to make connections and share the gospel broadly, and you can help immensely in accomplishing this objective.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project must be willing to be bold in engaging others with the Gospel. Participants on this trip should expect to do plenty of walking and climbing of stairs in the summer heat – with a minimum of 12,000-15,000 steps taken per day.

Xtreme Team
Multiple Countries in Europe - Starting in Budapest, Hungary
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $7904 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $4200
Are you ready to do “tip-of-the-spear” mission work? If so, we have the trip for you! A team of students will engage Eastern Europe, specifically in cities where the International Mission Board (IMB) either does not have personnel or has little idea of the state of the missionary work there is. It will be a seven week trip and the students will be somewhat in charge of their own schedule. IMB provides students with cities to visit, training, and questions to answer about the cities. IMB instructs them on how to secure travel. The team will utilize various means of lodging (hostels, hotels, etc.). IMB trains students before arrival in Budapest, as well as a week-long training in Budapest that will include training in entry to a context, evangelism, and discipleship. The team will be regional: Eastern Europe, Baltics, or Central Europe; and that will be determined by student interest.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be self-starters, willing to learn how to live independently in an environment that will not be common to them. Students must handle money faithfully and frugally. They will handle their own resources for 7 weeks of living in Europe. *Students should have experience in evangelism, namely 3-circles, and not just know the presentation but come to the field with experience in sharing 3 circles with not-yet believing people. Participants need to be able to walk 15,000-20,000 steps per day. Students with food allergies will be responsible for their own care. First-world medical facilities are available throughout Europe, however, food allergy awareness is not an often-practiced discipline. Should students with food allergies choose to come on this trip, they must bring all necessary self-care items.

University Ministry
London, United Kingdom
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $8985 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $5375
Are you ready to help us reach London? Join IMB church planters, journeymen, and local partners in meeting, sharing the Gospel with, and discipling university students from around the world. As an integral member of our growing team, you will join us in gathering and grouping new student contacts for events, leading Discovery Bible Studies, and building intentional discipleship relationships. But that’s not all. Our local churches need your partnership to serve alongside them as they connect with local university students to share the Gospel and disciple this next generation. So why give up your summer for London? According to The Standard newspaper, London is a modern-day Babel. Home to over 270 nations, this global city breaks records with over 300 spoken languages. On one bus ride alone, you’ll be overwhelmed with the sounds of English, Polish, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, and French. London is a melting pot of nations in desperate need of God’s grace, and we need your help. Far too many of our communities are filled with people unaware and unconcerned with their spiritual bankruptcy. Will you join us in sharing the Gospel in London?
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be outgoing and able to take initiative and try new things to engage in Gospel conversations.

Luxembourg Outreach Team
Luxembourg
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $5755 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $3375
This team of students will work alongside an organization in Luxembourg called “Lëtzebuerg brauch d’Evangelium” (Luxembourg needs the Gospel) or LbE for short. This organization exists to encourage Church planting and development for Luxembourgish speakers through the Luxembourgish language. This team would work closely with LbE leaders and Churches in various activities of outreach. Due to anti-proselytizing laws in Luxembourg, common and more overt means of sharing the Gospel are problematic. Consequently, many activities and approaches are designed to build rapport and friendships with not-yet-believers, allowing them the incentive and freedom to ask faith questions. The assignment involves flexibility and the willingness to try new approaches and activities.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be outgoing and able to take initiative and try new things to engage native Luxembourgish speakers in Gospel conversations. Some knowledge of French or German would be helpful but not required.

Frisian Discovery Team
Netherlands
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $4803 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)
WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $2725
FEMALES ONLY: This team will go into an area where there is no known direct missions engagement in order to do some work for the purpose of developing a strategy for Gospel engagement of the Frisian speaking peoples of the Netherlands using their heart language. The assignment will have three primary components. First, the team will explore and determine the level of Christian activity and access to the Gospel and fullness of Christian discipleship through the medium of Frisian. Examples include seeking out churches that function through the medium of Frisian, and if so to what degree (completely in Frisian, bilingual, occasional use of Frisian). If no Churches are actively using Frisian, the team will determine if first-language Frisian speakers are engaged in Dutch speaking Churches and if there are Christian resources (print and other media) available in Frisian. Secondly, the team will explore the world of first-language, Frisian speakers. For example, the team will seek to discover concentrations of Frisian speakers, what places and areas do they tend to congregate and interact, the cultural distinctives of Frisian speakers, and what is the importance of their language to Frisian speakers and why? Thirdly, the team will develop a couple of practical tools, to be used by new personnel in the area to develop missions and Church-planting/strengthening initiatives among Frisian. Based on the team’s conversations, explorations, and observations, they will develop two tools, which are quite common in the initial stages of missionary engagement of a new people group, namely “Bridges and Barriers to the Gospel” and “100 Ministry/outreach Ideas.” Specific training regarding the preparation of these resources will be given during the team’s first week on-field. This assignment would be ideal experience and training for students who are considering vocational missions and/or Church-planting.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be outgoing and able to take initiative and try new things to engage native Frisian speakers in Gospel conversations. Knowledge of Dutch would be helpful, but not required.

Do you have a desire to reach unreached unengaged people groups? Come join us in a country that is majority Muslim and in desperate need of the Gospel. You will minister among 14 UPGs located on several different islands. Spend your days sharing the Gospel, being welcomed into homes, eating rice and fish, and prayer walking the area you are in. You will go out to remote islands for a few days at a time before returning to the main island to debrief and rest before going out again. Join us to make an impact for the Kingdom!
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should have an interest in engaging people that have never heard that Gospel in a difficult context. Expect to be sitting on the floor for hours, weather extremes and spiritual darkness. Team members should be in good overall health, those with severe food allergies may want to consider other options as their needs may not be able to be accommodated.

Alert! Please do not consider this job if you are not willing to be challenged deeply. For those of you who are willing to let the Lord shake & shape you… Welcome, this may be the place for you this summer. The great missionary C.T Studd said ”Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell, I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell.” Come to our tropical nation, sit on the floor in their one room homes, and be the first to share the Good News of the kingdom of God. Or light a fire in someone’s heart to share the love of Christ on university campuses that will keep burning when you return home, as we seek Him to powerfully work among university students. Lastly, you may be more wired to disciple those who have believed and help them further understand how to live as a World Christian. Every day here, another hundred enter into a Christless eternity, consider joining us and witnessing the Father work in and through you.
You will be working alongside a field team which is taking a multiple pronged approached… if you are hoping to have a variety of experiences, this will be a good place for you. Take trips between 2-10 hours from the city where you will go to unreached and some unengaged unreached people groups. As you go into those areas, you may bring water filters or teach English to open doors for these beloved people to hear the Gospel. On the other hand, the city of one million people that you will be staying in has great needs as well. Join us as we go on college campuses and share the Good News directly, or lead Bible studies on other campuses. Be prepared to feel like a celebrity as you take selfies for Jesus. Lastly, we will be working with local churches, mostly with youth and young adults in discipleship opportunities as well as encouraging them to take one step closer to the Father. You may not do all three of these, but if you come you will participate in at least one of them.
Special requirements: Students will need to be bold and self-starters. Expect to engage in university work, pioneer work among unreached peoples, serving in rural villages and mega cities.
