Join a small, growing church of seekers, new believers, and many immigrants to serve in children’s ministry. You will help us with our Summer Sports, VBS, and our summer community outreaches.

- July 6, 2026

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $5139 (includes housing, most meals, transportation, and travel insurance)

WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $2975

This team will use their skills, training, interests, and experience in film to help tell the stories of three specific language groups in Europe (France and Italy), the speakers of the Corsican, Sardinian, and Sicilian languages. Through film, this team will try to make these language groups, who are often completely unknown or “invisible” to the worldwide Christian community, “visible” to those, who are less familiar with the indigenous minority language groups of Europe. This team will shoot video, which shows the natural areas of these language groups, with an emphasis on their history, language, culture, spirituality, and identity. This will be accomplished both through personal interviews with speakers of these languages, as well as images that will show more about their language and culture. The hope is that these videos will help make the spiritual needs of these people groups apparent for prayer while also serving as a means of calling Christians in other countries, who might be open to God’s leading, into missions service among one of these language groups. This team will spend about five days in each location, followed by a retreat for editing/producing videos about these language groups, which can be used immediately, before their debriefing weekend and return to their home countries.

Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be creative and artistic, having a passion and skills in film. Knowledge of Italian/French would be helpful, but not required. Students on this team should be self-starters and willing to engage in conversations with anyone.

WHAT YOU PAY (includes OMS Contribution): $4200

Are you ready to do “tip-of-the-spear” mission work? If so, we have the trip for you! A team of students will engage Eastern Europe, specifically in cities where the International Mission Board (IMB) either does not have personnel or has little idea of the state of the missionary work there is. It will be a seven week trip and the students will be somewhat in charge of their own schedule. IMB provides students with cities to visit, training, and questions to answer about the cities. IMB instructs them on how to secure travel. The team will utilize various means of lodging (hostels, hotels, etc.). IMB trains students before arrival in Budapest, as well as a week-long training in Budapest that will include training in entry to a context, evangelism, and discipleship. The team will be regional: Eastern Europe, Baltics, or Central Europe; and that will be determined by student interest.

Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be self-starters, willing to learn how to live independently in an environment that will not be common to them. Students must handle money faithfully and frugally. They will handle their own resources for 7 weeks of living in Europe. *Students should have experience in evangelism, namely 3-circles, and not just know the presentation but come to the field with experience in sharing 3 circles with not-yet believing people. Participants need to be able to walk 15,000-20,000 steps per day. Students with food allergies will be responsible for their own care. First-world medical facilities are available throughout Europe, however, food allergy awareness is not an often-practiced discipline. Should students with food allergies choose to come on this trip, they must bring all necessary self-care items.

But that’s not all. Our local churches need your partnership to serve alongside them as they connect with local university students to share the Gospel and disciple this next generation. So why give up your summer for London? According to The Standard newspaper, London is a modern-day Babel. Home to over 270 nations, this global city breaks records with over 300 spoken languages. On one bus ride alone, you’ll be overwhelmed with the sounds of English, Polish, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, and French.
