The Multiply Internship program works to connect student missionaries to local churches in New York City to see the students grow in their walk with the Lord through community and discipleship. We want to encourage students to learn to listen for God's plan for their life and equip them to live that out, focused on living missionally regardless of what God calls them to after graduation. Local churches will spend their summer including the student missionaries in their ministries, introducing them to Urban Missions and allowing missionaries to be a part of their outreaches, services, etc., while also disciplining the student weekly in their walk.
One Mission Students is seeking to connect students to serve through New Song of Hope Community Church in Jamaica Queens. New Song of Hope works to engage internationals in their community through ESL, citizenship and computer classes, a clothing closet and a variety of other ministries. Students assigned to this project must have a heart for immigrants and a willingness to share the hope of Jesus while also meeting practical needs.
