Join in on a new work among refugees in a North African megacity! Our team’s community development center is nestled among the busy streets of an unengaged neighborhood. The center offers English classes as well as workshops and community events. Your time will be spent assisting with ESL classes (English as Second Language) and utilizing your giftings to engage with young adults, many of whom are refugees. As a teacher, you will not only help these people improve their lives but you will also have opportunities to communicate the truth of God's love. Your talents, passions, and hobbies will be used to strategically connect with the lost. You’ll work side-by-side with our team who is passionate about the Gospel. Our primary goal is for you to abide abundantly in Christ. We want you to share your faith out of an overflow of what Jesus is doing in you. Bring a hard-working attitude, a selfless heart for service, all your fresh ideas, and come join us on the frontline!
Students that serve on this project need to know that you will be serving among unreached and unengaged peoples in North Africa/Middle East. This will be a pioneer work. You must be bold and a self-starter. Students should have some ability or desire to teach English to non-English speakers.
