Come and join us in an opportunity to engage with one of the largest unreached Muslim diaspora communities in North America. You will be immersed in a cross-cultural environment where you will learn to live missionally—praying strategically, building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and making disciples. Through hands-on experience, you will be mentored by experienced missionaries and equipped to fruitfully engage Muslims with the Gospel, to make disciples of Jesus through Discovery Bible Study (DBS), and to pursue the long-term goal of cultivating a Church Planting Movement (CPM) among Somalis in Seattle. Minister in neighborhoods where thousands of Somali Muslims live, shop, and gather, learning how to plant seeds of faith in a community that has very limited access to the Gospel. Whether over tea in a Somali café, walking through apartment complexes, or attending community events, interns are equipped to cultivate cross-cultural friendships, share the Gospel, and make disciples among the nations in our neighborhoods.
Special requirements: Students serving on this project should have a heart for Muslim peoples and be prepared to go into a very dark and hard place spiritually.
**Dates have some flexibility.
