Learn about Senegalese people and culture and come alongside the missionaries on the field who are engaging this people and culture with the gospel. You will spend some time learning some Wolof phrases and about Senegalese culture with national believers who can share their lived experiences. Prayer walk neighborhoods and learn to share your testimonies and Bible stories with the lost of that neighborhood. Engage with English students at the Grand Yoff Baptist Center, participate in kids’ club, and help with other ministries at the Center. You will also visit missionaries outside of Dakar proper to see missions efforts in more rural settings. This team will also help host a group of students from Super Summer Alabama Camp that will be serving in Senegal in June.
Special requirements: Students assigned to this project should be willing to engage people throughout the Grand Yoff neighborhood and have a desire to serve and meet needs of the community through ESL, kid’s clubs, etc.
