Be an integral part of our team's strategy as we work to engage the largest and most diverse city on the most unreached island in the world. We have 23 universities through the city which are attended by people from across the island. We need students who are ready to boldly share their faith and help develop strategies to consistently access the many universities in the city. You will be able to work alongside our friends at a language and culture exchange center as well as our coffee consulting business. We want you to meet students and map out ways to engage them, share the Good News with them, and disciple those who already know the Lord or come to know the Lord while you are here.
Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project should be open to seeking creative ways to share the Gospel with university students and young adults. Team members should be in good overall health, those with severe food allergies may want to consider other options as their needs may not be able to be accommodated.
