New Life Ministries exists "to serve those in need of food, shelter, and a purpose filled life.” Students will serve at our soup kitchen which serves hot meals twice a day. They will also have the opportunity to teach a class/devotion to the residents in our women's/men's shelter. There are also several painting and small projects to work on. If a young man feels called to preach, we will give opportunity to preach at our Wednesday night service. Musicians will also have the opportunity to use those gifts as well. Students will come face to face with and serve those who are homeless, addicted, and are looking for hope. Students will have daily opportunities to share the gospel and personal testimonies. Students who come here to serve will leave different than they came. Serving is real here and so are the testimonies. Jesus is doing great things here and any student who comes will see and be part of it.
Special requirements: Students that serve on this project need to understand that many of those they will be serving among have come from very difficult situations.
